HOMESERVICES ▸ OUR APPROACH

Five principles.
One route.

Our approach isn’t a poster on the wall — it’s enforced in every sprint, every pull request, every launch checklist.

SEC.03 // THE WAYOUT WAY

Principles we refuse to bend.

P-01

Start with the problem, not the pitch

We interrogate the “why” before touching Figma. Half of all features requested die in discovery — and that’s the point.

P-02

Design for the worst network

If it doesn’t work on 2G in Agege at 6pm, it doesn’t work. Offline-tolerance is a first-class requirement.

P-03

Ship small, ship often

Two-week sprints, Friday demos, staging from day one. Big-bang launches are how projects die.

P-04

Measure everything

Every build ships with analytics, error tracking and uptime monitoring wired in before go-live.

P-05

Leave it better than we found it

Docs, tests and clean handover. Your next team — in-house or ours — inherits a system, not an archaeology dig.

P-06

One price, in writing

Fixed scopes, milestone billing (40/30/30), and the on-time guarantee. No invoice surprises, ever.

SEC.04 // THE ROUTE

Discovery to scale, waypoint by waypoint.

You always know where the build is: shared board, weekly demo, one WhatsApp channel with the actual engineers.

Ceremonies: Monday scoping · daily async standups · Friday demo + report · sprint retro (you’re invited).
WAYPOINT 01 · WEEK 1–2

Discover

Stakeholder interviews, user research, technical audit. Output: scope map with hard exclusions and a fixed-price plan.

WAYPOINT 02 · WEEK 2–5

Design

Flows, wireframes, UI system and a clickable prototype you can put in front of real users before a line of production code exists.

WAYPOINT 03 · WEEK 5–14

Build

Sprints of two weeks. Every sprint ends with a demo on staging. Code reviewed twice, tested automatically.

WAYPOINT 04 · LAUNCH

Launch

QA gauntlet, k6 load test at 120% of projected peak (150k+ concurrent users), zero-downtime deploy, rollback rehearsed.

WAYPOINT 05 · ONGOING

Scale

Monitoring dashboards, monthly health reports, growth experiments and feature iterations on retainer.

SEC.05 // QUALITY GATES

Nothing ships unless it passes.

  • 2× human code review
  • Automated test suite green
  • Lighthouse ≥ 95
  • Load test @ 150k users
  • Security & dependency audit
  • Accessibility pass (WCAG AA)
  • Backup restore drill
  • Rollback plan signed off

Each gate is a checklist item in the launch run-book — with a name and a date against it.
